Henrico County Public Schools requires all adults who work with or around students to be registered volunteers.

This is mandatory for ALL volunteer roles with the team.

Why is this required?

  • Ensures student safety

  • Allows you to participate in HCPS buildings and school-sanctioned events

  • Aligns with district policy for extracurricular programs

Important Notes

  • You must be approved before attending team meetings

  • You only need to apply once per school year

  • If you volunteered with HCPS within the past year, you may already be approved
